Rangsit University, located in Pathum Thani, Thailand, has been struck in a midst of controversy after cancelling entrance exams for their medical courses after discovering students using camera glasses and smartwatches to cheat on exams.

Three students came into the exam equipped with smartwatches and tiny cameras embedded into glasses in a highly sophisticated plot to cheat on their medical exams. The glasses were used to transmit answers to a group of unnamed individuals and the smart watches were used to receive the answers. It is suspected that the three students paid 800,000 baht ($23,000, £16,000) each to a tutor group to help cheat in the examination.

Arthit Ourait the rector of the Thai University revealed on Facebook the gadgets confiscated which were to be used by the students. The students have since been blacklisted to partake in University courses.
