A man, from the Canary Islands, had not heard from his friend, 51, living in Alcabre, Spain for almost a week. His claim detailed that he had not seen him on Facebook or WhatsApp, for a couple of days, worried for his friend he contacted the Spanish police to search for him reported by Faro de Vigo.

When the police arrived they found a house cluttered with rubbish, so much so, that the rubbish was pouring out of the house. They began searching for the resident living inside the property.

The 51-year-old man was found laying on the floor crushed between the mound of rubbish located near the entrance of the property. The police had to contact the fire department just to extract the body out of the heap of trash.

Medical reports indicate that the unnamed man was a hoarder who was suffering from Diogenes syndrome, a mental illness where people collect things compulsively and neglect themselves.
The man is currently undergoing an autopsy to investigate if any foul play was involved in his death.
