A fish farm located in Guangxi Zhuang region in China has experienced a devastating sinkhole in one of their ponds which swallowed over 25 tonnes of fish.

The sinkhole caused tens of thousands of fish to be pushed underground by the vacuum caused by the sinkhole. The pond was drained of most of it's water and the majority of it's fish. The farmers losses are un-recoupable and have been estimated to have been up to $75,000(£52,000).

The cause of the sinkhole hasn't officially been discovered but some of the locals believe it is due to the activities at a nearby quarry.
