Man Pins Girlfriend To Bus With Forklift

A Florida man is arrested after he used a forklift to pin his girlfriend to bus to stop her from leaving after they had an argument

On Sunday, July 15th, 67-year-old Colin Lee Showard has been accused of driving a forklift towards his girlfriend, who was sitting in a car, pinning her to the side of a bus.

According to the arrest affidavit, the incident occurred on the 2100 block of Calumet Street. Clearwater, Florida. Showard was arguing with a woman who was trying to leave. the situation escalated when Colin got into a forklift and rammed the vehicle into the car his girlfriend was sitting in, pinning her to a bus.

The clear water police were alerted to the scene, the girlfriend suffered back injuries after the vehicle collision. The police questioned Colin as to why he rammed his girlfriend, Colin admitted he did it because he didn't want the woman to leave.

Colin Lee Showard was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, he was booked into Pinellas County Jail on a $10,000 bond, and has since been released.
