On Thursday, August 3rd, The South Wales police posted on their Facebook page a mugshot of wanted 35-year-old, Wayne Richard Esmonde of Fforestfach, Swansea. Wayne commented on the post requesting the police to take down his 'unflattering' picture.

The South Wales Police made the post after having a suspicion of Wayne's involvement in an assault which happened on July 18th.

The unflattering picture of Wayne shows him with a heavy stubble, with a shaven head and a deer-caught-in-the-head-lights-esque look on his face.

He had written on their Facebook page: "I am him. Not a very flattering mugshot. I'd appreciate it if you'd take this post down. Innocent until proven guilty and all that. I've spoken to my solicitor and they will advise me what to do next. Thanks."

After making the post, Wayne handed himself in at Swansea Central police station on the same day.

The original post has been taken down by the South Wales Police, as they had caught Wayne.
