On Sunday, April 23rd, 37-year-old Rhonda Blythe-Dunham called the police falsely accusing her husband of domestic violence, the police discovered the actual reason for the emergency to be a little more chilling.
The police report revealed that Rhonda dialed 911 and told officers that her husband had punched her in the face. The police responded to the emergency and arrived at their Croley Drive home, located in Nashville, Tennesse.
When the police arrived they did not notice any noticeable bruising or injuries on Rhonda, they proceeded to question the husband. Rhonda's husband denied punching his wife, he claimed that Rhonda became upset after he refused to get her ice cream, as he was too tired after a long day at work.
Rhonda was so upset at her husband's refusal to get her ice cream that she called the police claiming they had a physical dispute. The police questioned Rhonda over the claims and she admitted to making up the story.
Rhonda asked to use the bathroom and the police allowed her, soon after a loud thud was heard. Rhonda had escaped the home from the bathroom window and had escaped.from the home. The police were able to track Rhonda down and apprehended her.
Rhonda Blythe-Dunham was arrested and charged with filing a false report and evading arrest. She was booked into Davidson County Jail and released on a $15,000 bond.
