Police Arrest Man Dressed As The Joker

Police arrest man dressed as the joker whilst brandishing a sword and wearing a cape

On Friday, March 24th, 31-year-old Jeremy Putman was arrested after he dressed up as the comic book villain, "The Joker", and walked around wearing a cape whilst wielding a sword.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 pm, Jeremy was spotted by concerned bystanders walking along Papermill Road and South Pleasant Valley road in Winchester, Virginia. Officers, who responded to the several calls made of the suspicious male, caught up to Jeremy on the 2600 block of South Pleasant Valley Road and made their arrest.

Batman's Arch Nemesis Jeremy Putman was charged with wearing a mask in public, which is a class 6 felony for anyone over the age of 16 years of age, he was booked into Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center and held under a $2,000 secured bond.
