On Thursday, March 9th, two individuals were caught on surveillance cam breaking into a home in Seminole Heights, located in Tampa, Florida.
The surveillance footage showed two individuals entering a home which had been left unoccupied as it was being renovated. The male suspect walked towards the kitchen area where the camera was placed the female suspect stayed at the back near the front door. the male suspect spotted the camera, he ducked down and crawled towards the camera and snatched it. The Tampa police state the burglars took off with a variety of electronic items, including the camera
The police required public assistance on locating the burglars involved in the robbery, the surveillance camera before it was taken, recorded the burglars, the footage was used in identifying them. Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay offered $3,000 for the apprehension of the criminals. The responses received from the public via Facebook and Nextdoor aided the police in identifying the suspects as Robert Espinoza and Jessica Makas.
Robert Espinoza and Jessica Makas have not yet been apprehended.
