Man Swings Two Swords In Walmart

A man who appeared to under the influence of alcohol/drugs was arrested after he was swinging two swords in Walmart

On Thursday, February 23rd, 44-year-old Shannon Lon Schenck was arrested for swinging two swords at customers in a Walmart parking lot in Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida.

The Walmart manager spotted Shannon in the parking lot wielding two unsheathed swords while standing in a fighting stance scaring customers as they exited their vehicles, the police were called.

The Brooksville Police Department arrived at the scene at approximately 12:04 p.m and arrested Shannon, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol. The police discovered on Shannon's person a small amount of marijuana and a pipe with marijuana residue in it.

Shannon Lon Schenck was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon by a felon, marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Hernando County Jail and held on a $36,000 bond.
