Man Allegedly Shoots, Son Dead In Fight Over Chili Dog

A Floridian man shoots and kills his stepson after an argument over a chili dog

On Sunday 22nd January, 68-year-old Danny Holder had an argument with his adult stepson, Randall Lowen, 55, over a chili dog at Holders home on the 6500 block of Shahab Lane in Port Orange, Florida.

On Sunday night had an argument over a Chili dog, Holder threatened to shoot his stepson Randall but Holder was unable to find his gun as his wife had hidden the firearm in a dresser drawer.

The next day, Monday morning at 8am, got into an argument, Holder allegedly pulled out another gun and shot dead his stepson.

Officers of Port Orange Police Department arrived and arrested Holder, the police heard holder mumble under his breath, "This was the last straw".

Dennis Holder was charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held in Volusia County Jail without bond
