Third Grade Teacher Arrives High With Heroin Capsules And Syringes

A third-grade teacher has been caught with syringes and heroin capsules, reports show he went to school high

On Monday, January 9th, 27-year-old third-grade teacher, Patrick John McLaughlin, was arrested after detectives found heroin capsules in his desk and syringes on his person.

Patrick a teacher at Renaissance Charter School, based in Port St Lucie, Florida, was investigated after an anonymous tip to the police indicated there was a teacher arriving high to school.

Detectives from St Lucie County Sheriffs office arrived at the school and met Mr. McLaughlin ant the car park where they searched his car, no drugs were found in his vehicle.

The detectives followed Mr. Mclaughlin to his classroom and proceeded to search his desk where they found one used heroin capsule and another used heroin the trash, the police searched Mr. McLaughlin's person and found two syringes on his person.

Mr. McLaughlin allegedly admitted to the police he used the syringes to inject heroin.

Patrick John McLaughlin was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held in St. Lucie County Jail.
