18-year-old Dylan Brougham is currently the prime suspect in the murder of his grandmother, 69-year-old Joyce Ann Courson after an alleged argument of the Joyce hiding Dylan's beer whilst he showered.
The incident occurred on Monday October 10th in 3200 block of Ashridge Circle, Jacksonville, Florida, The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene after a phone call by a witness told the officials they heard screaming coming from a local home.
The Police discovered the Joyce Ann Courson on the floor in need of serious medical attention.
Joyce told the police that her and her grandson, Dylan, had an argument after she took his beer and hid it when he was in the shower.
The police reported on their Facebook page, “the victim was able to tell police that during the argument the suspect began punching holes in the walls near the kitchen of the residence. As the victim was coming down the hall near the kitchen, he pushed her to the ground. After she was on the ground, the suspect held her down and punched her in the face repeatedly with a closed fist and began kicking her while she was on the ground.”
18-year-old Dylan Brougham was located, arrested and charged with aggravated battery, but a murder charge was added eight days later when the suspects grandmother died in hospital.
