Hungry 35-year-old, Joshua Adkins, had an outstanding warrant evaded police, and ordered food from an In N Out burger, he was prepared to go to jail but not on an empty stomach.

The police chase took place in Phoenix, Arizona, Joshua had warrants out for his arrest and failed to stop when police tried to pull him over on the evening of Wednesday 26th October.

Joshua took the police on a bizarre journey which included a drive-thru at an In N Out near Priest and Ray Roads in Chandler. He managed to order his meal at the burger chain whilst no police vehicles were in pursuit but there was a police helicopter following him.

After ordering his food he continued to evade the police, presumably to give him enough time to finish his meal.

He drove into a backyard and tried to break into a home but the door was locked, after his failed efforts of escape, he decided to surrender to the police.

Joshua Adkins was booked on suspicion of unlawful flight from law enforcement, aggravated assault-domestic violence, and unlawful imprisonment.
