Russell Nathan Coltrane Jeanson Martin Jr., 33-years-old, Canadian baseball player, who currently  plays as a catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, split his hand open after performing an overly hard high five.

On the evening of Tuesday, 4th October, the Blue Jays began their celebration after beating Baltimore Orioles 5-2 in extra innings at the Rogers Centre, located in Toronto.

Players celebrated by congratulating each other, intensely.

Russel Martin celebrated a little too Intensely.

Russel Martin gave a very hard high five to one of his teammates and split open the pinky finger on his left hand.

Russel required stitches to fix his busted pinky. Martin claimed he was fine to play the next game after receiving medical attention.

Next time he might prefer a light pat on the back.
