Man Escapes Handcuffs, Thrown Out Back Window In Crash

The suspect, Logan Younger, escapes police handcuffs, the police cruiser crashes and logan flies out the back window

On Friday, 19th August, Logan Younger, 19, was arrested by Officer Justin Thompson of the Jonesboro Department, in Arkansas and was placed in the back seat of a police cruiser.

The arrestee became 'disorderly sand aggressive' whilst handcuffed. he began to slam his hands and feet on the back of the front seat in the police cruiser.

After struggling for a minute, the suspect managed to free himself from his handcuffs, he then pulled out a zippo lighter from his pants and attempted to burn the back seat of the police car. Officer Justin Thompson, the policeman driving the vehicle began to panic, turned on his sirens and started driving faster in an attempt to reach the police station quicker.

Officer Justin Thompson, crashed the car causing it to flip on its side, Logan was flung out the back window. Logan took the opportunity to escape from the scene but was later caught and arrested.

Logan Younger was recorded by Kelly Gregson Taylor escaping from the police after the car crash and then later apprehended, video below.

The officer was airlifted to Memphis hospital after suffering serious injuries from the crash, he is expected to recover. Logan was also treated for his wounds and later taken to Craighead County Detention Center and charged with escape 3rd degree, public intoxication, fleeing on foot and minor in possession.
