On Wednesday the 10th August, a man was spotted Yesterday Evening climbing the 200m (660 ft) Trump Tower, a skyscraper located on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

The climber was recorded on numerous occasions using suction cups in assisting him in achieving his climbing feat. He managed to scale the 21st floor of the 68-floor skyscraper, which took him almost 2 hours to reach.

The police and fire department waited for the climber on the 21st floor, they had preemptively broken a window and waited for the suction cup climber to reach his destination.

The police pulled in the climber in and arrested him.

It was discovered that the climber released a video stating as to why he climbed Trumps tower. He said "I am an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter. I guarantee that it’s in your interest to honor this request, believe me, if my purpose was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it. The reason I climbed your tower is to get your attention. If I had sought this via conventional means, I would be much less likely to have success because you are a busy man with many responsibilities." He also requested viewers to aid him in getting the video to go viral, he didn't need much help.

The Trump Tower was built in 1983 and is is the 65th tallest building in New York City and is also the headquarters for current Republican Presidential candidate and billionaire Donald Trump.

Below is a video of the full climb.
