Pet Store Owner Pays Prostitute With A Stolen Primate

Owner Of Eugene Pet store used a Galago primate as payment for a prostitute after it was stolen from Zany Zoo Pet Store

In Eugene, Oregon, USA an out-of-town prostitute handed in a monkey to the Eugene police after it was given to her as payment for her services by pet store owner Nathan Allen McClain, the owner of Zany Zoo Pet store, reported by The Register Guard.

Prior to the prostitute situation, it was reported to the police that the Zany Zoo Pet store had been burglarized after one laptop, Girl Scout cookie money and a Galago primate named Gooey was stolen.

Allegedly Nathan used the girl scout cookie money to pay the prostitute for her services and Gooey the Galago primate was given as a tip.

Eugene police arrested McClain on Thursday on a single count of patronizing a prostitute. The robbery is still under investigation as interrogations have been delayed due to police obliging to wait as Zany Zoo are currently relocating.

The co-owner and wife of Nathan, Abbie McClain wrote on Facebook that her husband is no longer associated with the business and she is currently trying to remove his name from the business and banking accounts.

Gooey is now safe in an animal sanctuary.
