Shane Hadlington, 27, entered a convenience store armed with a metal bar, walked with a distinctive limp, had a tattoo on his wrist that read 'Dad', whilst wearing a motorcycle helmet on his head and ill-fitting Minnie Mouse gloves on his hands. He was conducting the armed robbery with another man who has yet to be apprehended.
The convenience store was located in Roseville, Dudley, England. The robbery incident was caught on the store's CCTV footage it had occurred Last August where Shane with his accomplice managed to threaten staff at the convenience store using weapons and stole £3,700($5250) worth of alcohol and cigarettes. They managed to escape the incident on their Motorbike.
The police began an investigation through social media where people managed to identify the Minnie Mouse glove wearing armed robber as Shane Hadlington, through the use of his distinctive clothes and tattoos. He was arrested outside a coffee shop last October and charged with the armed robbery reported by Birmingham Mail.
Shane ever defiant in his actions pleaded not guilty to the robbery but the judge and jury came to the verdict of guilty on the 8th of April 2016. He has been sentenced to 6 years in prison, where he'll come to regret not purchasing the all black gloves.
