Students Neck Cut After School Performance Of Sweeney Todd

Students neck is sliced after a prop razor actually cuts two students throats during the live performance

The school children of Saint Kentigern College, located in Auckland, New Zealand, where undertaking a live performance of musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street when a fake prop caused devastation on stage sending two children to hospital.

The school play involved the actor playing barber,  Sweeney Todd in swiping a prop razor across two school children's throats and Spurting out fake blood but the prop razor ended up slicing two 16-year-olds throats spurting out real blood, sending them to a local hospital.

The prop razor was covered in duct tape, silver paper and was very blunt. It was used during the rehearsals of the show and never caused any damage reported by News Talk ZB.

The injured students were released from hospital and are recovering from their injuries.
